The ebay auction on is the perfect portable studio/recording solution, featuring an Apple PowerBook 12" 1.5GHz G4 w/ DVD-R/CD-R/CD-RW SuperDrive, 100GB HD & 768MB RAM bundled with MOTU Digital Performer 4.5 and a MOTU 828MKII multi-channel audio interface. This setup was in use at our storefront and at a few trade shows for various pro-audio demos and has seen light use as evident by some minor cosmetic blemishes. Savvy eBay members know that Wave Digital Apple Mac products are tweaked-out and optimized for audio recording, and come with extra goodies installed. This particular 12" PowerBook belonged to Wave Digital founder and owner Gil Griffith, and was his business laptop as well as demo unit. He has treated it with kid gloves and and it includes many NFR programs to show off the power and flexibility of the PowerBook platform. The durable Brenthaven travel bag was designed exlusively for the Apple 12" PowerBook, has many cool features and is incredibly comfortable to wear. DP4.5 runs beautifully on this PowerBook, and you can use the mini-DVI port to connect a second monitor or an HDTV.
